A new map of the Arctic Council Member States
Maps of the Arctic Council Member States oftentimes merely depict a thematic of the states themselves. The new map by Sellheim Environmental combines the thematic map of the Arctic with a physical one, including the 200 nautical mile Exclusive Economic Zones (EEZs) and some Arctic Council Observer States. Contrary to more common maps, the new map uses the JAXA Snow Depth Polar Stereographic North Projection, placing the Russian Federation into the centre of the perspective.
The high-resolution free-to-use map without the central logo can be obtained for a fee of 15€. The map can be adjusted further to your own needs and preferences, subject to a fee.
