The CITES Resolutions Depository

The CITES Resolutions Depository

This depository displays all Resolutions that were adopted by the Conferences of the Parties (CoP) to CITES. The page serves for documentary purposes and it must be borne in mind that not all Resolutions are still valid. Valid Resolutions are marked as ‘valid’ in the Comments section while all repealed Resolutions are marked as ‘repealed’ with the information on the repealing Resolution.

At the end of each table, a file containing all Resolutions adopted at a CoP has been made available for downloading. Where available, links to the adopted individual Resolution is provided in the respective table. It is common practice at a CoP to revise already existing Resolutions. These revisions are not reflected in the files for downloading, merely the original versions. Revised Resolutions can only be found if they are still valid.

Since the status of Resolutions changes after every CoP, it is recommendable to double-check their official statuses here. The current status refers to all valid Resolutions post-CoP19.
